GMA Artist Center proudly announces former U-Kiss member and My Korean Jagiya star Alexander Lee as its newest artist.
During a contract signing ceremony held last September 21, Alexander shared how grateful he was to be part of the Kapuso family, and to have a blossoming career in the Philippines.
“I am really honored because this is really a mutual trust and I am enjoying working together with GMA people. I am really happy because you know, 7 years ago I visited the country and I was just seeing GMA on TV and now finally I am here. I am a Kapuso. It’s fate. It’s meant to be. It’s a dream come true for me.”
On the other hand, GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth G. Rasonable is proud to welcome him as part of the Kapuso Network family.
“Finally, Alexander is now a Kapuso. Meron na tayong Korean star na makakasama natin sa Kapuso. We have seen that he’s a very talented artist. Sa mga mall shows, dinudumog siya ng fans so marami pa talaga tayong mga projects and shows na pwede niyang puntahan,” shared the GMA executive.
Also present in the contract signing were GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi S. Lara, GMAAC Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun Ferrer, ETV Program Manager Redgynn S. Alba, GMAAC Senior Talent Manager Tracy M. Garcia and Mr. Jay Lee, Alexander’s co-manager.
To date, Alexander gives life to the character of Kim Jun Ho, a famous actor in Korea who moves here in the Philippines and eventually falls in love with Gia, portrayed by Heart Evangelista in My Korean Jagiya. (30)
Mika Dela Cruz in Wish Ko Lang!
This Saturday (September 30) in Wish Ko Lang!, Kapuso star Mika Dela Cruz brings to life the story of a young woman who had to raise her siblings on her own.
Jayme grew up in a family where they all help out in their small business. They would go to places where there are a lot of people or where there are fiestas to sell balloons and toys.
But life’s real hurdles began when their father met an accident and eventually passed away. Jayme’s mother (Glenda Gracia) worked twofold to raise all of them six siblings. Until one day, Jayme’s mother had a heart attack and died.
From then on, Jaymee and her siblings were left without parents, leading their relatives to think of distributing the children among them to adopt. Jaymee was adamant. She would rather suffer and starve with her siblings because their mother made it very clear when she was still alive that the family should not part from one another.
Joining Mika and Glenda in this episode are Bryce Eusebio and Cai Cortez.
Don’t miss Wish Ko Lang! with Vicky Morales this Saturday after Tadhana on GMA-7. (30)
