Cyber attack affects UK phone companies
The Comus Council, a UK body, said that in recent weeks several members have been the target of cyber attacks, which have been carried out in a coordinated manner.
New behaviour way of doing DDoS attacks are attacks that act like flooding websites or online services by causing Internet traffic to become inaccessible on any device.
The latest attack to be seen was the extortion of various companies, one of which was VoIP, in which they offer online calls to various customers, companies, public services and the police.
On the other hand, the Commerce Council also said that cybercriminals are professionals and they are part of a coordinated extortion campaign.
In addition, it was reported that it is still not estimated how many companies have been affected, as these attacks are on a large scale.
Executives noted that they had not seen these attacks since 2004, and that they would continue to work closely with the UK government and the Center for Cyber Security to prevent such attacks. vn
