Ilonggo food, arts and crafts exhibit at SM City

VARIOUS products of micro, small and medium enterprises from processed foods, health and wellness, wearables and homestyle will be highlighted in a weeklong exhibit at the activity center of SM City Iloilo, starting this week.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Iloilo Provincial Office has invited 56 MSMEs from all over Iloilo Province to exhibit their products and creativity during the Ilonggo Food, Arts and Crafts Festival 2017 which runs from July 17 to 23.

The trade fair intends to promote Ilonggo products and expand their market reach.

The MSMEs could enhance their marketing capabilities and competitiveness through trade fairs, as well as showcase their competencies, and introduce the local products to generate more customers.

“We need to raise the awareness of people that our local products have also become competitive in terms of package design, quality and craftmanship,” said DTI OIC Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon.

DTI Iloilo Provincial Director Diosdado P. Cadena will lead the opening program at 2pm, Monday, July 17.
