CAAP needs Navigation Surveillance Officers

BACOLOD City – The Air Navigation Service (ANS) of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announces the opening for Communication Navigation Surveillance Systems Officers of the agency.
CAAP will conduct the examinations on May 3 while the applications and requirements are due on April 23, Tuesday.
Examinations will be conducted in Manila (CATC), Legaspi Airpot, Bacolod-Silay Airport, Cotabato, General Santos, and San Jose Airport.
Interested applicants are required to submit duly accomplished application form, copy of college diploma and transcript of records, RA 1080 license/rating of Civil Service Eligibility, copy of birth certificate and NBI clearance.
Requirements must be submitted to the Personnel Section, CAAP, Pasay City for Manila applicants while provincial applicants must submit requirements to the ANS Airport Manager not later than 5 p.m. of April 23.
Applicants must not be more than 28 years old on the day of the examination, physically and mentally fit and of good moral character.
Graduates of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Computer Engineering are preferred.
Application forms are available at the Personnel Section of CAAP in Pasay City or at the HRD Office, CAAP, Bacolod-Silay Airport or maybe downloaded from www.caap.gov.ph by clicking Basic Air Navigation Systems Specialist Course application form.
Communication Navigation Surveillance Systems Officers are tasked to operate and maintain the communication, navigation and surveillance equipment used in civil aviation.
After passing the qualifying examination and interview, applicants will undergo competitive training at the Civil Aviation Training Center at Merville Access Road in Pasay City free of charge but no allowance or any form of compensation will be given to the trainees during the training period.
