Earthquakes: A part of our life

THE earthquake in the early morning of July 12, 2011 is a sober reminder that earthquakes are part and parcel of our lives here on earth. Three seismic waves occurred between 12:24AM and 5:00AM but the strongest intensity or magnitude happened at about 4:40AM.

All under the auspices of the Provincial Peace and Order Council.

No discrimination, please

SENATE Bill 2652 was introduced by Senator Pia Cayetano prohibiting discrimination in the employment of any individual on the basis of age. As labor advocate, I would like to commend Senator Pia Cayetano for this move.
