‘Las Parrandas de Atria’

LET’S PARTY and shake out the negativity this Holiday season at the Shops @ Atria through its colorful Christmas lighting ceremony which not only conveys the Yuletide spirit but also brings hope, change and love.

Shops at Atria recently concluded its Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

The 25-foot Christmas Tree was illuminated 8 p.m. last Nov 26, 2017, at Shops @ Atria Activity Area, before guests, employees, and merchants.

It started with a pre-show of soothing sounds by Aire Band followed by a prayer and singing of the national anthem rendered by the Panayana Choir of WVSU-PESCAR.

“The lighting of the Christmas Tree has been a tradition for us for the past three years. This year, with its rustic charm, we would like to send out a message of hope, change and love,” Said Soleil Delos Reyes Guevara, operations associate manager of Shops @ Atria in her opening remarks.

The event was even made more special because of the presence and message of Mr. Dominador Co, the executive assistant for tourism on behalf of Mayor Joe Espinosa III.

The tree lighting ceremony began at 8 p.m. with an entertaining performance brought by the

Artians and holiday music featuring Tim, Joan, and Milton.

The lighting ceremony was even more meaningful because of the symbolism of each rustic ornament displayed in the Christmas tree.

The audience became more excited when they started the countdown for the Christmas tree lighting.

The excitement did not stop there as guests indulged in a delicious dinner prepared by Sinukad.

It was followed by the Christmas Party of the merchants as they showcased their talents in the Slay Belles Competition and ended with the awarding of the participants.
