Jinjiang Inn PHL joins IT&CM in Shanghai

THE Hotel 101 Group-Jinjiang Inn Philippines joined the Philippine delegation to the Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings (IT&CM) held in the Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing in Shanghai China last March 21-23, 2017.

“The IT&CM China is an avenue for us to let the market know that Jinjiang Inn is now in the Philippines. As a well-known brand in China, the Chinese market will easily recognize and be comfortable with Jinjiang Inn’s offerings in the Philippines, which are standard across the brand,” says General Manager Lei Policarpio.

Jinjiang Inn Philippines is one of the brands under the Hotel 101 Group, a fast-growing mid-class hotel chain in the Philippines, under the DoubleDragon Properties Corporation (DD) group. The brand currently has two operating hotels, Jinjiang Inn – Ortigas and Jinjiang Inn – Makati.

The hotels are positioned as a mid-class business boutique hotel, offering comfort and convenience to guests, and its location, being in the center of the Ortigas and Makati business districts, highlights the accessibility to businesses, malls, restaurants, and other points of interests.

“With the vision of building 5,000 hotel rooms by 2020, the Hotel 101 Group will open more hotels, in the next years in key destinations and cities all over the Philippines, such as Boracay, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, The Fort, and Bohol, to name a few, to meet the demands of the growing tourism industry in the country, especially from China,” adds Policarpio.

She also shares that, “During the 3-day event, we have met several international MICE buyers, professional convention organizers, destination management companies, and they all have a very positive outlook and very optimistic towards the Philippines, as a MICE destination.”

“Most of the participants are also interested with Hotel 101 – Manila, our MICE hotel brand with 518 rooms, due to its strategic location at the Mall of Asia Complex, and proximity to the SMX Convention Center, World Trade Center, and the PICC,” Policarpio says.
