through a Video on Tik Tokjeskask8s shared her sad story of crying uncontrollably and expressing her frustration. He invested those 500 hours within the first six months after launch, admitting he stopped playing before 2021. Still, the loss of his island hit him a lot.
The young woman confirmed that she had paid for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack for months just to make a cloud backup of her island and prevent it from being lost. To his dismay, he discovered his save file was corrupted when he contacted Nintendo. Simply put, you will never be able to get your game back.
In a follow-up video, jeskask8s said he’s never seen what his island icon is, so other people won’t be able to visit it either. Despite this mishap, in a recent clip he thanked the users for their support and commented that he would start another game again. Meanwhile, members of the community fear that something similar may happen to them.
