A new road map for Sheraton hotels
From Dubai to Tel Aviv, Marriott International’s most global brand brings inspiring new design to all of its hotels.
With millions of travelers still dreaming of discovering new destinations around the world in 2021, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is ready to welcome them after unveiling the hotels chosen around the world to embody the brand’s new vision in terms of interior design: Sheraton Tel Aviv, Israel; Sheraton Grand Hotel Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, USA; Sheraton Denver Downtown, USA; Sheraton Guangzhou, China and Sheraton Mianyang, China.
After Marriott International announced in 2018 that it plans to revamp this brand to suit today’s travelers, the completion of the renovation of these hotels marks a milestone in the group’s journey to reinvent itself.
Transformation Sheraton It is gaining momentum and more than 40 hotels around the world are expected to reflect the brand’s new vision by the end of 2022. There are currently 446 Sheraton hotels in 74 countries and territories around the world, making it the global brand of Marriott International.
In 2021, Sheraton Hotels will continue its transformation journey, and the brand hopes to introduce new guest experience programs and complete renovations in places such as Nice (France), Kiev (Ukraine), Nashville (US) and Toronto (Canada). Xi’an (China).

For the past 80 years, Sheraton has provided guests with the guarantee of a traditional ocean welcome at their hotels. Building on its roots as the meeting point for locals and guests at iconic locations around the world, the Sheraton brand’s fresh approach creates an intuitive, holistic experience with places to connect, enhance productivity and give guests meaning.
The ‘Layered Design’ approach balances all-time with fresh and modern air, creating an environment in which guests feel comfortable and relaxed, whether they are working, meeting or relaxing.
A modern main square
The mainstay of the new Sheraton experience is the atrium that has been planned and designed with in mind the grand squares of the city, and is an inclusive and open space that invites people to be together or even surrounded by people, creating a sense of energy and belonging.
In this new space, where energies flow naturally and intuitively, guests will be able to access what they need in a welcoming, inspiring and elegant environment. The new design includes distinctive elements such as the Community Table, an attractive collaborative workspace specially designed for each hotel lobby, allowing guests to work and eat and drink while saturating the space’s energy.
In accordance with Sheraton’s philosophy of embracing both form and function, these ergonomic tables are designed to allow guests to work efficiently, and offer facilities like built-in lighting, power outlets and wireless charging stations.
Studios, flexible meeting spaces available upon reservation, favor collaborative work and communication in a less formal environment. Built on elevated platforms with glass containers and thanks to the embedded technology, The Studios allow guests to contribute to the energy dynamics of common spaces, while providing the privacy and focus needed for any task, from small meetings to private dining experiences.
There will also be soundproof booths strategically placed throughout the lobby, perfect for making a casual phone call that connects you privately with friends and family from a distance.
Designed at a central point in the lobby, Sheraton’s new culinary philosophy has always been built with guest comfort in mind and ensuring productivity as a primary goal. The perfect blend of bar, cafeteria and shop, the Coffee Bar is a central pillar of the Sheraton’s new vision, offering guests throughout the day multiple options of locally sourced food and beverages, easy to take on the job and adapts to all tastes and schedules.
New spaces to boost productivity
In the Sheraton New Rooms, guests are welcomed into a bright, warm, residential space consisting of soft finishes, light wood tones and dark metallic accents.
The rooms are designed for productivity, and all have a height-adjustable desk, built-in charging stations and multi-layer lighting. Sheraton classics like the plush podium bed Sheraton sleep experience, Which provides the most comfort and convenience, will remain part of the rooms. Additionally, the bathrooms have also been remodeled with new, modern shower and toiletries from the popular company Gilchrist & Soames.
The Sheraton Club Lounge, an exclusive space for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members and guests across the Sheraton Club level, has also been refurbished as part of the overall transformation of the group.
The new design ensures the space is comfortable and sophisticated, and is designed to ensure a multi-layered, inviting experience that blends seamlessly with morning and evening activities.
Here guests will find an excellent offer of food and beverages, premium amenities, greater connectivity and 24/7 accessibility to provide them with a private environment.
Commitment to hygiene
Sheraton Hotels follows Marriott International’s hygiene and cleanliness protocols, created in collaboration with leading experts in food safety, water and hygiene, infection prevention and hotel operations.
These protocols include the mandatory use of masks for all hotel employees, and the use of disinfectants recommended by the Centers for Disease Control in the country / region in which the hotel operates and the World Health Organization to disinfect surfaces in all areas of the centers.
