Daniel Quintero provides evidence of a possible Rebelde concert in Medellin
Huge disappointment arose among RBD fans after Columbia did not appear in the countries where the band would be holding their remix show.
The Latin American series, which starred Anahi, Maite Peroni, Christopher Aukerman, Dulce Maria, Cristian Chavez and Alfonso Herrera, marked many young people in the 2000s until their separation in 2008.
For this reason, the band achieved great euphoria among its followers in the midst of the pandemic, in 2020, they met to revive a virtual concert in which Dulce Maria and Alfonso Herrera did not participate, absent for personal reasons.
The truth is that since then, the desire for a reunion has begun to take them on tour through the countries in which they managed to attract a large fan base. And so, this year the “Soy Rebelde Tour” (2023) was announced, which will take them through Mexico, Brazil and the United States.
However, everything seems to indicate that the Medellín Mayor’s Office, headed by Daniel Quintero, is working to bring the RBD to the capital of Antioquia.
“And I am a rebel…,” was the first clue from Mayor Daniel Quintero, through his Twitter account. And this Monday, January 23, he rekindled the speculation by uploading a photo of the group’s iconic red tie.
It is necessary to point out that not only the Medellín Municipal Office will be behind the group’s arrival in Colombia, because the famous Colombian artist Carol G will also make an effort for RBD to perform at Atanasio Girardot.
“I’m making my own RBD invite to go to Colombia,” said “bichota” on her Twitter account. In addition, the woman from Antioquia has an excellent relationship with Anahí Puente, known as Mía Colucci in the series, who also responded to the proposal of Karol G.
“I love you,” was Anahi’s message at Carol G’s request to see RBD at Columbia.
