Placing colors on the walls to have the citizens appreciated in their usual ways is the idea of urban artists, although some murals and graffiti go unnoticed, becoming part of the street landscape.
For a graffiti artist from the city, the difference between these two styles is framed in that the mural is closer to the academy and reflects on the context where it will be captured to be pleasing to the eye, the graffiti has the essence of the street, careless of the environment and in general the graffiti painters themselves.
This illegally initiated art has gained space for decorating institutions in the form of murals, with many commercial buildings even choosing this alternative to avoid continuing to focus on scratches and vandalism.
Graffiti continues to appear on some of the abandoned houses and walls of Parallella Street. There are signatures and drawings of different sizes.
In the school district of Rosario, on the garage door, you can read the letters BWPS in the form of graffiti, which for many in this culture are the signature of its author or group.
In front of Caldas Hospital, you can see this mural by the artist from Manizales SEPC (sepc_), who has left an imprint on the city by having works distinguished due to its color, style and messages.
Between 56th and 57th Streets is a mural by the artist SEPC, which is also remembered for his negative murals. Manizaleño took his art to countries such as France, Poland, the United States, Mexico and Brazil.
