Televisionist Pat Robertson says Trump lives in an ‘alternate reality’ and should move on from electoral losses
Trump has “done an amazing job for the economy”, Robertson said on Monday, but argued that he is “very uncertain.”
Robertson said of the president, “He fired people, he fought people and he insulted people and he was going down the line. So it’s a mixed bag.” “And I think it would be nice to say ‘It’s been your day and it’s time to move on.”
He also cast doubt on Trump’s pretext attempts to reverse the election results.
“I prayed and hoped that there might be some better solution, but I think it’s all over,” Robertson said, adding that Trump would win the election in 2020.
“I think the Electoral College has spoken. I think the Biden corruption has not been brought up completely, but it does not affect the Electoral College and I don’t think the Supreme Court is going to do it. Anything.” And I think we’re going to see a President (Joe) Biden, and I also think that we won’t see President Biden as President Kamala Harris very long after the inauguration. “
Robertson also said that it would be a “mistake” for Trump in 2024 and instead Trump appointed former US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley as a possible successor.
“I think it’s a sideways. I think it would be a mistake. My money would be on Nikki Haley. I think she would make a tremendous candidate for the Republican Party,” he said.
