The Chihuahua Public Prosecutor’s Office reported that 12 migrants had disappeared at the border
Chihuahua authorities have issued search alerts for the disappearance of at least 12 immigrants at the Texas border in the United States.
According to the search files, the migrants from Chihuahua and Queretaro, the state capital and the city of Checkers, left on September 25, heading to Ojinaga, with the intention of crossing the border.

The agency identified Luis Carlos Islas Villegas, Jose Luis Balaris, Javier Ricardo, Lopez Rodriguez, Emmanuel Aguilar Bellon, Benigno Alberto Alvarez Castro, Amador Aguilar Mendoza and Lorenzo Abraham Gonzalez Mendoza.
A minor who was traveling with the group stated that they had been detained illegally before reaching Ojinaga, but had managed to escape, according to a report by Juarez newspaper.
Currently, Chihuahua authorities are carrying out aerial and ground antiquities searches with the support of the K-9 group in a breach leading from Coyame del Sotol to the community of Lomas de Arena, in the same municipality of Ojinaga, it is reported Reshape.
