Amazon plans to hire 55,000 new employees in the coming months

The e-commerce giant Amazon reported, on Wednesday, that it plans to hire more than 55,000 employees around the world in the coming months, of which 40,000 will be in the United States, as part of its expansion process.
The announcement comes ahead of the event scheduled for September 15th where the company will provide career consultancy to attract new employees.
In addition to the 40,000 new employees in the United States, the remaining 15,000 will be based in subsidiaries in Canada, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany and India.
Most of the new jobs will be in your technology department.
Amazon has seen its turnover rise in the past year amid restrictions on movement put in place to control the spread of the epidemic and the boom of online shopping.
“We work hard every day to be the best place to work for people who have satisfying, long-term jobs,” Andy Gacy, CEO of Amazon, said in a statement.
Gacy recently replaced Jeff Bezos, the company’s founder, at the helm of Amazon.
Today, the Seattle-based e-commerce giant has more than 1.3 million employees worldwide.
