In the middle of defining the NBA playoffs, the NBA team has already set its sights on the upcoming Tokyo 2021 Olympics and has identified, for now, 12 players who will be part of the team.

Not surprisingly for a competition of this caliber and with the United States recently failing at the 2019 World Cup in China, the initial roster is brimming with stars.

While it wouldn’t be the best team coach Greg Popovich could put together, just reading the names generates “fear” for the World Cup.

Chris Middleton (Milwaukee Bucks)

Some of the more significant victims are: LeBron James (the rest), James Harden (the injury), Stephen Curry (the rest) and Chris Paul (the rest).

Rookie Anthony Edwards has been invited to participate in training before the Games, so the definition of the 12 called up will be extended. In addition, part of this group trained on campus in previous years, where the number of attendees was also higher, so the window is open to changes.
