THE ILOILO City Hall is set to further strengthen its complaint center in line with its commitment to keep the city government free from graft and corruption.

"We are aligning the customer care center kay may nakita naman kita out sa pila ka bulan naton nga experience, we need to introduce some other things para ma-strengthen pa gid ini," said City Administrator Hernando Galvez, Jan. 9, 2017.

Galvez said amendments to the functions of the customer care center will be introduced to ensure that employees will be given due protection, procedure and action when complained.

The customer care center is the “eyes and ears” of the City Hall. Started in September 2016, it was put up as venue of city government clients to raise concerns against or commend City Hall workers. It is also expected to speed up city hall transactions.

In Monday’s flag ceremony, city hall employees were reminded anew to serve the public with a heart and honestly.

“We will serve not by fear but by love sa aton pumoluyo with integrity," said Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog.

Mabilog and Galvez led the department heads in the signing of the Integrity Pledge recently.

The Integrity Pledge reminds the department heads to be true to their commitment of accountable and transparent public service.

 

"(This is) to ensure nga graft free ang aton syudad kag to the best of the service, ma-deliver naton sa aton kliyente sa pinakamadali nga paagi," said Galvez.
