BACOLOD City – One of the sons of slain RTC Judge Henry Arles is urging the National Bureau of Investigation to name the alleged mastermind in the ambush-slay of their father.
This, after NBI agent-in-charge, Atty. Ferdinand Lavin confirmed that they are looking at the possible involvement of one influential clan in southern Negros in the assassination of Arles.
Philip Arles, who ran and lost to Rep. Mercedes Alvarez in the 2010 6th district congressional race, said he is optimistic that the NBI and Task Force Arles created by the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) will succeed in giving their family justice.
The younger Arles was seen Thursday at the Hall of Justice here during the hearing of the case of Ilog municipal councilor Antonio Gequillana who was also shot dead.
Earlier, Vice Governor Lim-ao Alvarez who is from southern Negros also urged the NBI to name names.
