BACOLOD City- The reorganization of the provincial government will streamline the personnel set-up, not to add more unnecessary positions.
This is the reason why the provincial government is reviewing the recommendation of a private consultancy firm that came up with a feasibility study on the reorganization plan, according to Provincial Administrator Enrique Pinongan.
Pinongan said the reorganization committee is set to meet the three members of the CPRM consultancy firm next week to review and discuss the reorganization pattern recommended by the firm.
Pinongan said one recommendation of the firm which is to assign at most five administrative officers per office.
Another recommendation of CPRM Consultancy is the dissolution of the Provincial Cooperative which is headed by Jun Gilpo.
Pinongan, however, said no retrenchment that will happen during the implementation of the total reorganization.
The firm also recommended the merging of the Provincial Information Office (PIO) with the provincial library administration.
