Special Registration for PWDs set at SM City Iloilo

THE ILOILO City Comelec Office is set to hold a special registration for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) on August 11, 2012 from 10am to 6pm at the lower ground floor of SM City Iloilo between Healthy Smile and Baron Barber shop.

The event aims to give priority to the PWD sector to exercise their right to vote thus giving them a day especially allotted for them to register sparing them the hassle and inconvenience.

The event has become an annual undertaking with the partnership of the City COMELEC and SM City Iloilo as an advocacy for the PWD sector.

SM Supermalls, through its SM Cares Committee for Persons with Disabilities, continues its advocacy to uplift the situation of differently-abled persons by coming up with programs and initiatives for their well-being, as well as creating a non-handicapping environment by providing facilities for PWDs to enjoy their experience in the mall.
