In the co-main event of the May 4 card, Escalante City’s undefeated Melvin Gumban (8 Wins, 3 KOs) takes a shot at the Philippine Boxing Federation super flyweight title held by Zamboanga Sibugay’s Nelson Llanos. In his previous fight in Bacolod in the undercard of Pinoy Pride IX, Gumban forced Richard Donaire to retire on his stool due to cramps at the start of the fifth round.
