Now on its 33rd edition, the Miss Gay Philippines beauty pageant was founded and produced annually by famed celebrity columnist Chito Alcid.

“Ms. Gay Philippines beauty pageant is not produced to glorify gays. This is a platform for them to further develop their personality, how to be more productive gays, to be professional in dealing with people, to have positive outlook in life, remind them the importance of moral values and their relationship to society,“ stated pageant producer Chito Alcid.

2012 Ms. Philippines-Universe Erriz Erikha Lanceta will represent our country to the Ms. Gay-Universe 2012 beauty pageant in Thailand this coming November.
